A3 folders offer a range of benefits; not only can they offer physical protection for your important documents, but they also offer you a large surface to advertise your brand effectively and creatively. Due to their large size, they are hard to miss. Add to that their obvious functionality, and needless to say that all your clients will want to get their hands on one.
No-one enjoys receiving a stack of disorganised loose paper. Do you work in the design industry? If you do, the odds are that you often work with A3 pieces of paper. Be it plans, designs, or important documents, you do not want to handover a simple stack of paper to your clients. If you do, odds are the paper may get damaged or even lost, potentially giving your company an unprofessional image.

Printing resolution for A3 Folders
The resolution needed to print A3 size images with the best quality is 297 x 420 mm at 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Please do note that you would still have to add a bleed of 3 mm on all sides of your design, to ensure you receive your printed products exactly as you expected. InDesign has a tool with which you can easily add bleed to your designs, but in Photoshop you will have to add bleed manually. Not sure if you added bleed the right way?
