A5 size is a highly recommended paper format if you are planning to distribute leaflets
or flyers in a high-traffic area as it is easy to carry and hand over. While it is rarely in printers, many of them can be adapted accordingly. Other common uses for this paper size would be booklets or notepads.
For instance, at Helloprint, we offer stapled booklets
that are available in many premium paper types of this size. We also have their inner pages available in thin, standard, medium, and thick paper types complemented by silk-coated paper covers.
When it comes to flyers, we have them in full-colour and perfectly designed for your marketing needs. They come in different thickness such as slim, medium, standard, and solid, which will further enhance their quality. Aside from these, our high-quality flyers come in gloss, matt, and writable finish for added value.
We also have notepads which can serve as a promotional item or a corporate gift to your business associates. Not only are they available in A5 format, but they come at a reasonable price and a fast turnaround. With this, the A5 format truly makes things more convenient and budget-friendly for everyone, making it a good investment option.
Printing resolution for A5
When printing an image of A5 size you need to make sure you set it up on the right resolution. The resolution to use for an A5 image is 148 x 210 mm at 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Make sure you also include bleed to avoid receiving your products with a white border around them. A 3 mm bleed on all sides of your design is sufficient. InDesign includes a tool which you can use to easily add bleed, in Photoshop you would have to add it manually. Are you not sure if you included bleed the right way? Check the free template on the product page of the product you’re ordering.
