Printing resolution for A8

To output an image at 300 ppi, it needs to be at 614 x 874 pixels. This is the minimum resolution if you want your design to be visible enough to be seen or read in a short or close distance as when you are reading a book or magazine. At 150 ppi, your image needs to be at 307 x 437 pixels, which is the least requirement for a decent resolution that can be observed clearly at close range. On the other hand, a digital camera with acceptable image quality and 1-megapixel resolution or more can be used to print top quality A8 format images.
