Ring binders are an excellent way to convey your corporate identity. You will impress your potential customers with custom printed ring binders from Helloprint. Print your own design and/or logo and show your corporate identity to your customers. The binders are suited to hold documents with max. size A4. The outside is printed with your design, in full colour, fininshed with matt lamination on both sides.

Submission specifications for Ring binders
- For preparing your file we recommend to use our template.
- For preparing your file we recommend to use our template. This is the best way to deliver your file perfectly. Because this product has a shape/special die cut and the only way to get this visible is by using our template.
- Resolution of at least 300 dpi.
- Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 300 dpi.
- Use CMYK as the color mode.
- Prepare your files using CMYK as the color mode, not RGB. Use colormode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) for coated papertypes and colormode FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) for uncoated papertypes. If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.
- Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.
- Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.
- Fonts should be at least 6pt.

- Check your artwork on overprint.
- Make sure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint. Unless you want this effect in your design. The degree of transparency in printing depends on the ink, paper, and printing method used.
- Keep 4 mm safety margin
- Keep all important text and images at least 4 mm away from the edge of the finished size.
- Add 5 mm bleed.
- To allow leeway for cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm around all edges of your design. Make sure colours, background pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area so as to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting tolerances. You can submit your file with crop marks and printer's marks.
- Use the right values for full color black.
- Use Rich Black (C:63% M:52% Y:51% K:100%) for larger areas and text to get a deep black color. Do not use this value for text smaller than 15 pt or plain text. This can only be used in full color printing. For designing black smaller texts use 100% black.
- Make sure the ink coverage isn't higher than 300%.
- Force Color Images to CMYK with a 260% ink limit (in Photoshop > Convert Color Profile > Photoshop 5 Default CMYK). Make sure the ink coverage isn't higher than 300%.

- To make sure that your order is delivered at the indicated time, it is important that we receive your file with your design for the product, on time (also called cut-off time). In this way the product can be put into production on time. The deadline is always communicated in the yellow bar on the product page, above the "Add to shopping cart" button.
- The cut-off time for your printed item may vary. This depends on the combination you choose. This has to do with the manufacturing technique and / or the order quantities.
- NOTE: The product delivery shifts a day every time the deadline for submission has passed. This is also the case if the file is rejected by us and corrected artwork isn't supplied before the next cut off time.
- Which production techniques do you use?
Offset Lithography printing or Litho printing makes it possible to provide larger quantities at unbeatable prices. This technique creates images and text with wet ink and transferred to each paper sheet with aluminium and rubber plates. This method is more extensive than its 'digital’ counterpart because of the different printing materials that are used. Still, it is the most cost-effective option when you order bigger printed batches.

- Our binders are made of solid carton cardboard. They are sticked wrapped round with 135 gms matt paper. The clamping systems are made of aluminum.
- What are the dimensions of the windows and what is their position?
- You can choose between no window, a window inside, a window on the back or both. The window inside is placed in the left bottom corner 2 cm from the edge on the inside and has a dimension of 62 x 91 mm. The window on the back has is place on the bottom and has a maximum hight of 130mm. The smalllest side on the top is open.
- What are the filling heights for the binders?
- Back 29 mm: 15 mm filling height Back 41 mm: 25 mm filling height Back 59 mm: 40 mm filling height Back 74 mm: 52 mm filling height
