The Importance of a Strong Brand Identity for Restaurants
When you are building a company, it is extremely important to make sure that you have a strong brand in place. This is also the case for restaurants. Because with so much competition in the marketplace, it can be a difficult job to acquire customers. But how do you build a brand identity as a restaurant?
One thing is for sure: only cooking good food is not enough anymore. Restaurants that want to be successful in this day and age need to adapt to the modern reality. This means that you need a strong visual brand that translates to everything related to your business. Just a cool logo and some nice paint on the walls will not cut it any longer.
While some restaurants decide to not adapt at all, there are some great examples of restaurants who use a strong branding strategy to their advantage. Are you looking to do the same? In this blog, we will discuss some amazing restaurant visual brand identities for the right inspiration.
Kris Kros
Kris Kros is a restaurant that offers a wide range of tastes. Their branding is extremely colourful, which stands for versatility. The branding has a very fun feel to it, while at the same establishing a sense of professionalism.
Unforked
Unforked also has a cool brand identity. What we like most about it is that they grab every chance they get to make an impression. For instance, all packages have unique text on them. We especially like the ‘this is not a burger’ sticker on the burger. It makes you actually think about the food for a second, which isn’t necessarily common when it comes to fast food.
Piknik
PikNik is a restaurant and shop that is specialised in pasta. They have picked (no pun intended) an elegant style for their brand. They have found a clever way to make sure that the memorable typography is included as much as possible.
Julian
Restaurant Julian found a great way to announce their opening, by using actual wooden spoons as promotional products. The small cards that are attached to it have clever messages on them such as ‘something delicious is stirring in Brookside’ and ‘stick a spoon in it, we’re almost ready’. The branding is very straightforward and fresh, and we are sure Julian had an amazing opening week.
Bambudda
We love the branding of this restaurant. The menu card is our favorite part. The restaurant is called Bambudda and – of course – decided to incorporate some bamboo elements. All their branded products give off a great sense of elegance. Simple yet bold.
