First time making a custom hoodie? We have a couple of tips you can keep in mind when designing one for the first time.
- Keep colour in mind.
You want your text and choice of images to be visible on the fabric that it is printed on. So make sure you choose contrasting colours between your design and the colour of the hoodies you want them printed on. Unsure which colours to pick? Choosing white printing on dark colours or black printing on light colours are always a safe bet.
- Keep the dimensions and resolution of your design in mind.
If you choose to use our online design tool for hoodies, you have the choice of picking pre-set images or upload your own to create your own design. You can increase or decrease the size of the image as much as you want. However, you obviously want to make sure that the image will look good on the finished product. You want to make sure that the images printed on your hoodie look crisp and that the details are noticeable, even from a distance. You would be surprised with how much image size really matters for printed hoodies, so be sure to experiment a bit to get what you really want.
