Note: These individual stickers will be delivered separately and not on a sheet or roll. They are laser cut, which can shrink the foil material slightly and give you a white border on the edge of each sticker. If selecting a transparent material, lighter and pale colours will not be visible with light behind them.

Note: Not all stickers have a break line. For production reasons, the break line cannot be guaranteed for our individual stickers. If you require stickers to have a break line, please request a quote.

Design guidelines

We recommend using our templates and guides for preparing your print-ready PDF.

You can download our guides and templates in the template section. Remember to delete the template layers before exporting your design to PDF.

If you already have a design, no worries; we accept other file formats, including JPEG, PNG, or EPS.

For photographic content, high-resolution JPEGs are recommended, preferably without compression. For graphics or text-based content, we recommend print-ready, vector-based PDFs. For content that is a combination of graphics and photography, we suggest using print-ready PDFs to ensure the best quality.

Use CMYK as the colour mode.

Prepare your files using CMYK as the colour mode, not RGB. Use colourmode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2). If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file.

White printing

As standard, white is not printed on transparent stickers. Your design will be translucent and semi see-through. White areas in your design will be transparent.
If you choose full colour print with white, you will need to submit your design as a vector file. The colours in your design will be more vivid.
If you choose white only printing, you will need to submit your artwork as a vector file.

Resolution of at least 300 dpi.

Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 300 dpi.

Add 5 mm bleed and keep 3 mm safety margin

During production, there might be a slight cut deviation. To avoid any issues, we recommend the following:

Add a 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design.
Keep important elements 3 mm away from the edge or folding lines.
Avoid using borders or frames on smaller formats like labels or business cards.

Text and fonts specifications (Min. font size is 6 pt)

For this product, the minimum font size is 6 pt. To avoid any issues, we recommend the following:

Fonts must be embedded or outlined.
If your design contains small black text, make sure it is 100 % black (Cyan: 0 Magenta: 0 Yellow: 0 Black: 100).

Note that we don't check spelling or typographical errors.

Check line thickness.

Lines should be at least 0.25 pt. Negative lines should be at least 0.5 pt.

Check your artwork for overprint.

Make sure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint unless you want this effect in your design. You can read more about overprint in our Help Centre.

Payment & design: Choose your preferred payment method in this step. You can also choose to upload your artwork first and pay at a later stage.

Design check: Upload your design. We'll send a digital proof for your approval before the order gets sent to production.

3. Payment & design upload

In the last step of the checkout process, you can choose to upload your design before or after making payment. Once you upload your design, it will automatically undergo our design check.

Note: If you opt to upload your design before making payment, production will only commence once the payment is processed and the design proof has been approved.

4. Design check & order approval

Your file will be checked, and we will send you a digital proof for your approval. It's important to review the proof before the time and date displayed on your order overview page to ensure that your chosen turnaround can be met.

Note: In some cases, our design team may need to review the file and provide an update via email.

What is this product? And what can I use it for?

Stickers are one of our most sold products and are very popular promotional material. Stickers can be stuck on many surfaces depending on the size, material and finishing chosen. Some stickers have a slit, which means they are super easy to remove from the underlying layer.

This product can be used:
• To introduce people to your business
• Promote discounts or events
• Provide information

When can I use standard stickers?

Standard Stickers can be stuck to many surfaces! Apply them on the back of packaging boxes, water bottles or sealing envelopes. Use them as a quick and easy way to promote your brand for any campaign!
Note: While standard stickers are suitable for most flat surfaces, excess touching/rubbing can cause the print to fade and reduce the lifespan of your sticker. For example, if they are used on a phone or laptop.

Which production techniques do we use?

Digital printing: Uses four colours (CMYK) with toners and inks to print digital files. This option is comparable to a large home printer, and is cheaper than Litho printing for smaller quantities. This is because there are fewer starting costs, fewer components involved, and no ink drying time required.

Offset Lithography/Litho printing: This technique uses wet ink and aluminium and rubber plates to transfer images and text onto paper sheets, resulting in sharp, vibrant, and consistent prints. While this method may require slightly more setup than digital printing, it's the most cost-effective option for larger print runs.

Please note that this product is lasercut, which can shrink the foil material slightly and give you a white border on the edge of each sticker.

Which carriers are used for delivery?

We employ multiple carriers for delivery, with UPS or DPD being our top choices for the highest reliability in most cases. The carriers are used based on specific product criteria, such as size, turnaround, and quantity.

I can't find the product I'm looking for. Can I request a quotation?

If your material type, weight, quantity, size or other specification is not listed, you can request a quotation. We will send you our offer within 1 working day. However, depending on the complexity, it may take a bit longer.

Can Individual Stickers be used outdoors?

Not all types of stickers can be used outside. If you would like to use your stickers outside, we would recommend using 90gsm PVC white or transparent stickers. The lifetime of these stickers is affected by use outside. Other materials can only be used inside.

What materials can I choose from?

Glossy stickers (90gsm): These stickers are weatherproof and can easily be removed. They're perfect for both indoor and outdoor promotions.

Transparent Stickers (90gsm): Transparent stickers are perfect for window advertising in shops or cars and are suitable for both, indoor and outdoor advertising. NOTE: We cannot print white on transparent stickers!
It's also important to note that the stickers are not all fully transparent. The printed surface of transparent sticker will show a slight transparency, meaning it will work perfectly on a bright background and not on a dark background. Would you like a transparent sticker where the print is not transparent? Please contact us for a quotation.

Writable stickers: This 73 gsm stickers material is perfectly writable and can also be stamped. The stickers have a matte look and can be used for many purposes! Ideal for labelling as well.

Can transparent stickers be printed with a white design?

No, but if you'd like your transparent stickers to be printed with a white design, please contact our quotes team.

Depending on the complexity, this can take a bit longer.

Are stickers delivered on a square sheet format or round sheet format?

While your stickers might have a round shape, they could be delivered on a square format or a round sheet format. For production reasons, we cannot guarantee that the backing sheet will match the shape of the stickers.

What are the sizes available for standard stickers?

We offer 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 95mm 148mm and 210mm for printed standard stickers. These sizes are standard specifically for HelloPrint and may differ from company to company.

What are the shapes available for standard stickers?

The shapes available for standard stickers are round, rectangle and square.

Do all labels have a backside which is easily removable (breaking line)?

Not all stickers have a break line. For production reasons, the break line cannot be guaranteed for our individual stickers. If you require stickers to have a break line, please request a quote.

Can I include a frame or border in my design?

We strongly advise against including a frame or border in your design, as minor cutting deviation could cause this to appear off-centre once printed.

What is the fastest possible turnaround?

The fastest possible turnaround varies depending on the specifications you select, and will always be stated at the bottom of the page. To make sure that your order is delivered at the indicated time, it is important that we receive your file with your design for the product by the stated cut-off time. This way, the product can be moved into production promptly.
Please note: The delivery date shifts a day every time the deadline for submission has passed. This is also the case if the file is rejected by us and corrected artwork isn't submitted before the next cut-off time.
